Nghiên cứu kết quả điều trị ung thư bàng quang nông bằng phẫu thuật nội soi kết hợp bơm doxorubicin tại Bệnh viện Việt Đức

Abstract

- This research evaluated the therapeutic results of transurethral resection of bladder tumor combined with intravesical doxorubicin instillation on Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer at Viet Duc Hospital, there has not been any previous study in Vietnam on the effectiveness of this drug. Results: 36-month recurrence rate was 16.9%. Mean disease-free survival duration was 34.47 ± 8.62 months, 12-month disease-free survival rate was 96.6%, 36-month was 83.1%.

- To predict the recurrence risk of Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer, the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) has developed the risk tables system including 6 factors: Number of tumors, tumor size, primary recurrence rate, stage, concurrent CIS and grade. This research has applied these risk tables in assessing the recurrence rate of Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer. The results revealed that this scoring system was value in prognosing the possibility of recurrence. EORTC score levels correlated with recurrence rate: The recurrence rates of patients at levels of 0 score, 1-4 scores, 5-9 scores, 10-17 scores were 0%, 8.7%, 28%, 100%, respectively.
